BLAME THE JUVENILE
Hear the cry of a young
girl who matures with age and discover changes to her body that she can’t
explain. No one is willing to tell her the naked truth about puberty, sex and
love. Her parents who she feels are supposed to be her friends paint pictures
of what it is not. They keep telling her not to allow any man see her pant else
she’ll get pregnant. She lives in this ignorance and eventually turns 18.
The social media world
paints it all black and white, and she gets even more confused. Then she became
so loose, and had her first kiss with a guy who also has not been schooled on
what taking responsibility is all about. They meet in secrets corners,
lights-out and then in dark rooms where the eyes of the world cannot see them.
The young girl’s belly
suffers a fever, and then later discovers she’s being put in the family way.
The society screams and calls her all sorts of names for his misdeeds. Where
were they when she wanted someone to teach her morality, sex education and
purpose? They tell to go for an abortion because she’s too young to have a
baby. Now, murder is the new order or peoples’ perverted idiosyncrasy.
The young man gets high on drugs and bails out
because he can’t be a father now. No one told that what makes him a male is his
penis, but what makes him a man is his ability to use his brain. He bails out
of first real sight of responsibility. The society blames him for not using
protection, and calls him a dog for not being able to control his sexual urge.
Where were they when he needed someone to teach him about personal development,
family life and responsibility?
Don’t blame, help them to
become better.
